Message from the President...

I know if one more person asks me where I'm going for vacation this year, I might have to hurt someone…… Of course, these are people at work or acquaintances that don't dive, so they vacation vicariously through me. So, it's time to go someplace and I wish I was going tomorrow or sooner.

Of course, there's always the quarries and they are starting to sound good with the weather finally getting warm. Think about getting out those wetsuits and planning to do some local diving this year. We'll talk about it on Tuesday and as far as I know, John C is planning to schedule a monthly quarry dive and sometimes I think you just need to know somebody else is going to give you the courage to show up.

Every week, I'm on-line looking up dive resorts but not ready to make a commitment. Larry has researched Costa Rico and should have more info at the meeting. If there's someplace that interests you, get some info together and we'll talk about it. Somebody just has to take the idea and run with it. I think trip planning will be the focus of the May meeting. I know, we've never had a focus before, why start now……

We'll be looking forward to hearing about John C's trip to Utila a few weeks ago. I think this was John's first big dive trip, so I'll be anxious to hear what he thought. Steve also has a video, perhaps the last one from Cabo San Lucas, I think, so we can view that. Randy was attempting to set up something with Aquatic Realm, but as of this moment, they have not committed to anything.

So, show up prepared to discuss travel, water, sun and sand!
